Frequently, we remind ourselves that CMC's mission to promote the open exchange of information and ideas – “free speech,” isn’t free at all!  Just as the founders of our country invested their lives, talents and resources to earn and protect our right to freedom of speech, we in the Columbus community also invest in the continuity of this pillar of democracy.

The Columbus Metropolitan Club is a non-profit organization.  About 40% of our funding each year comes from the generosity of corporate underwriters.  They understand the value of free speech and protect it today and for the future with their investment in CMC.

We are continually grateful for the support of more than 70 companies who provide over $200,000 annually and to our Board of Trustees and Development Committee who introduce us to potential supporters.  Metropolitan Club sponsors also recieve substantial benefits in recognition for their support including sponsor promotions, corporate memberships and much more.  Check the sponsor benefit page for additional information.
