Ohio is now poised to earn its first-ever World Heritage status in the next few years for several American Indian earthworks in and around Central Ohio. The Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks nomination would bring the highest international recognition possible for cultural or natural sites to our state, as well as the benefits of increased domestic and international tourism.

Join Dr. Bradley Lepper, curator of archaeology at the Ohio History Connection, Melinda Huntley, executive director of the Ohio Travel Association, and Stacey Halfmoon, director of American Indian relations for the Ohio History Connection to learn more about bringing World Heritage status to Ohio. Matt MacLaren, the new director of TourismOhio, will host.

Sponsored by: Fahlgren Mortine

In partnership with: The Ohio History Connection, Ohio Travel Association
