Wolfe Foundation Chief Clinical Officer, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
Dr. Thomas has been at the Ohio State University since 1991 and currently serves as the Wolfe Foundation Chief Clinical Officer for the Wexner Medical Center. His role includes oversight of all patient care services, medical staff administration, and clinical outreach with affiliate hospitals. Dr. Thomas co-chaired the committee that programmed and designed the Medical Center’s new hospital tower and continues to help lead the project which will open in early 2026. From 2020-2022, he served as a leader of the COVID response for the Wexner Medical Center, the University, and the State of Ohio. He continues to practice part-time as a general internist in the Ohio State Executive Health program.
