Mark Williams has been a business reporter with The Columbus Dispatch since 2010. He writes about employment, banking, insurance, and personal finance. Before joining the newspaper, he worked for The Associated Press for 14 years, the last two as a national energy writer.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in history from Miami University and a Master’s Degree in journalism from Ohio University. Williams and his wife have had 12 exchange students (not all at once!) and have raised 13 puppies for Pilot Dogs.
