Peggy Anderson joined Equitas Health in 2011. Equitas is a community-based nonprofit focused on providing a welcoming healthcare home for LGBTQ, HIV, and other medically underserved populations. In her role as COO, Anderson is responsible for community-based programs and operational oversight of the nonprofit which operates on a $85 million annual budget through 17 offices in 11 cities.

Previously, Anderson spent more than 12 years at the Columbus AIDS Task Force, serving as its President and CEO for over 2 years.

Anderson received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Rio Grande, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University, and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration.
