Larry Fisher is a retired Partner from Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP and former President & CEO of Columbus Downtown Development Corporation. Fisher, along with three other activists, stepped in at the 11th hour to save the Ohio Theatre from destruction, ultimately leading to the creation of Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA).

In 1971, he initiated Capitol South CURC, which developed City Center and the three blocks south of the Statehouse. Later, Fisher orchestrated and partnered in the redevelopment of the Great Southern Hotel, the Southern Theatre, and the Columbus Athenæum. His second big community urban redevelopment corporation was Campus Partners CURC which saw the transformation of part of the OSU campus into South Campus Gateway.

He was also responsible for the development of the premiere air cargo hub in the world — the Flying Tigers International Hub — the project that catalyzed the further development of Rickenbacker Airport.

Fisher receieved his Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University and his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
