Chris Baggott

Co-Founder and CEO, ClusterTruck

Chris Baggott has 22 years of successful software entrepreneurship. As co-founder of ExactTarget, Chris witnessed a successful IPO in 2012, followed by a $2.7 Billion acquisition by SalesForce.com. Chris’ next startup, Compendium Software was quickly acquired by software giant Oracle.

Like a lot of successful tech entrepreneurs, Chris thought getting into the restaurant business would be “fun” and foolishly opened two restaurants in his hometown of Greenfield, Indiana.

As online ordering and delivery started to become a thing, he realized that a cobbled-together, multi-vendor system, supported by fees paid by both consumers and providers was unworkable in the long term. His solution was ClusterTruck, a “Digitally Native Virtual Restaurant”.

After nearly a year of initial software development, ClusterTruck launched in Indianapolis in April 2016. There are now seven ClusterTruck locations on the platform having facilitated over 3 million orders with an average delivery time of 29 minutes, an average “Kitchen to Curb” time of seven minutes, an average delivery cost of under 9%… all with 100% FREE delivery.
