Nicole Jackson is a dynamic leader at the intersection of AI, digital transformation, and responsible innovation. She currently serves in a newly established role with a major insurance provider here she focuses on integrating AI into customer experience platforms, bridging product, engineering, and governance to ensure AI features are aligned with enterprise goals and user trust. 

In addition, Nicole is the Principal AI Consultant and AI Practice Lead at Optimum Technology, where she advises government organizations on building ethical, governance-aligned AI systems with a focus in public safety using standards like standards and frameworks such as NIST AI RMF and ISO 42001. Her work spans AI systems consulting across GCP, AWS, and Azure, as well as auditing, risk analysis, system implementation, and policy advocacy—delivering value across sectors while centering transparency, equity, and accountability. 

Nicole’s commitment to public engagement is reflected in national exhibits and educational initiatives. Her work has been featured in the California Academy of Sciences’ Google Arts & Culture collection, the International Museum of Surgical Sciences’ permanent exhibit on health IT, and as a 3D printed statue for the 2022 Women’s History Month Exhibit at the Smithsonian highlighting women innovators in modern STEM across emerging technologies disciplines.  

She is a contributor to the IEEE 7019, IEEE 7999 and IJIS AI working groups, holds advanced certifications in AI ethics and risk management, and is known for translating complex AI systems into actionable, human-centered strategies. Whether advising on system architecture or contributing to national discourse, Nicole brings a grounded, ethics-first perspective to building AI that works for—and with—the communities it touches.
