Community Mental Health Advocate,
Nina Day is a local and national advocate for mental health awareness. She and her husband, Coach Ryan Day, created The Christina and Ryan Day Fund for Pediatric and Adolescent Mental Wellness in 2019, supporting essential mental health education, advocacy and fundraising through The Kids Mental Health Foundation. The “Day Time Break Kit,” the cornerstone of the Days’ work with The Kids Mental Health Foundation, is a curriculum with lesson plans that help students learn about mental health. In 2024, the Days also created The Mental Health Resilience Fund at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for mental health research and services. Most importantly, Nina is the mother of three children, and she is always working first to support and nurture their well-being.Â
