Legacy in Civic Engagement Funds

Legacy in Civic Engagement Funds are one-time gifts which provide a commitment that the Columbus Metropolitan Club will convene a meaningful and unique community conversation every year about a topic important to the donor.

The name of the donor (or that of their family or honoree) will be recognized for bringing this important discussion to the attention of the community. Their story, their contribution, and their passion for the topic of their choice will live on to inform, inspire, and educate Central Ohio and beyond.

• Funds are named as the donor wishes.
• Because each is maintained as an independent fund, anyone can honor the donor and their gift by adding to it with a gift of their own.
• The purpose of the Legacy Funds is to sustain and benefit CMC. The Board of Trustees may use funds as special needs or projects arise. CMC will fulfill its pledge to present an annual forum celebrating and recognizing each Legacy Fund donor.
• Funds are managed at the Columbus Foundation for optimal investment returns and security.
