Adero Robinson is the CEO of Communities In Schools of Ohio, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students stay in school and achieve success. Robinson has over 26 years of nonprofit experience, having previously served as the senior vice president, executive director for City Year Columbus and the chief of staff for City Year Columbus. He has also worked as a community development specialist with the Columbus Compact Corporation and as a project manager with Battelle for Kids. Robinson’s leadership at CIS of Ohio focuses on providing tailored support to students with academic, behavioral, or attendance needs, particularly those from low-income backgrounds facing various challenges. His role involves collaborating with school districts and other stakeholders to ensure that students receive the necessary support to overcome barriers to success.
