Deputy Director, Sustainability and Regulatory Compliance, Department of Public Utilities, City of Columbus
Alana R. Shockey serves as Deputy Director, Sustainability and Regulatory Compliance for the City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities. In this role, Alana is responsible for leading the City’s Sustainability Office, Sustainable Columbus, and a growing staff of climate and energy, resilience, engagement, and regulatory compliance specialists tasked with implementing the Columbus Climate Action Plan and planning for a sustainable future for all the City of Columbus residents. Prior to joining the City of Columbus, Alana was an environmental lawyer in private practice and started her career in the planning and analysis and environmental enforcement sections of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
