Amelia Robinson is the Opinion and Community Engagement Editor at The Columbus Dispatch. She joined the Dispatch in February 2021.

Before moving to the opinion editor role, Robinson worked as a news reporter on a variety of beats, writing stories, taking photos and producing videos. She has written news, as well as features and food stories. And she is experienced in digital work for online production.

She worked at the Mansfield News Journal before going to the Dayton Daily News in 2000. The Cleveland native is married to Anthony Shoemaker, a fellow journalist. She is an Ohio University graduate and a current fellow in the Kiplinger Program for Public Affairs Journalism at Ohio University.
