VP of Community Health & Wellbeing, Mount Carmel Health System
Brian is an experienced leader with over 20 years in the healthcare industry. He currently serves as VP of Community Health & Wellbeing for Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio. Brian has tertiary care clinical nursing experience in the coronary intensive care, open heart recovery, mobile intensive care, emergency and prison settings. Brian served in the United States Army and Ohio Army National Guard for 12 years as a combat medic, flight medic and forward area surgical team nurse. Educational experience includes a master’s degree in business psychology accompanied by undergraduate degrees in nursing and organizational leadership. He is licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio and is a certified health and wellness coach from the American College of Sports Medicine.
Service on non-profit boards includes the Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio, Concord Counseling Services, the Physicians Care Connection and the First Responder’s Bridge. Passions encompass behavioral psychology, ecopsychology and all things outdoors. Brian volunteers his time as a health and wellness coach and with the Columbus Metro Parks.
