Former President, Columbus College of Art and Design
Dennison W. Griffith is the former president of the Columbus College of Art & Design and served as deputy director of the Columbus Museum of Art for many years. He was coordinator of the Individual Artists Program at the Ohio Arts Council from 1978 to 1983. He has been a grants panelist for the National Endowment for the Arts, the Ohio Arts Council and the Illinois Arts Council. Griffith, a visual artist, has received fellowships for painting from the Greater Columbus Arts Council, the Ohio Arts Council and Arts Midwest. Griffith earned an MFA at The Ohio State University and a BFA at Ohio Wesleyan University.
