Emily Brown is the Director of the Immigration Clinic and Assistant Clinical Professor of Law at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She leads the clinic’s efforts to provide hands-on legal training to students while advocating for immigrants’ rights through direct representation and community engagement. Before joining Moritz, she served as a Senior Attorney at Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE), where she focused on immigration law and social justice issues. Her legal career is rooted in public interest work, emphasizing access to justice for marginalized communities.
Brown earned her law degree from Yale Law School, where she cultivated a strong foundation in human rights and clinical education. Her professional journey reflects a deep commitment to empowering future lawyers and defending the rights of immigrants through both legal practice and pedagogy.
