Hayleigh Colombo is a business reporter specializing in coverage of higher education, tourism, arts, and sports for Columbus Business First.

She is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board of Butler University’s College of Communication, and a member of the board of the Society of Professional Journalists’ Central Ohio chapter.

A native of Lake Zurich, Ill., she has bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science from Butler University. Prior to joining Columbus Business First in 2019, Colombo worked for six years as a reporter in Indianapolis, Ind., and two years as a reporter in Lafayette, Ind.
