Director of Community Impact, Crane Group
Julie Fletcher is the Director of Community Impact at Crane Group, bridging the
organization with the community and empowering employees to engage with meaningful
causes. A grateful ambassador of the Crane Group family of change agents, Julie proudly
lives by the ethos, “Love your neighbor,” overseeing Crane Group’s Philanthropic Giving,
Community Engagement, Volunteerism, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Spanning more than 30 years, her professional life began in pharmaceutical sales before
transitioning to community leadership when she founded the nonprofit, One Dublin.
Passionate about fostering connected communities, she expanded her impact when she
shifted to The Ohio State University’s College of Social Work, LiFEsports. Even midst this
challenging climate, Julie is excited about the future of Columbus as the city grows and
adapts to new ways to increase opportunities for all. She serves on the board of the African
American Leadership Academy, the Leaders Forum of the Columbus Partnership, and
served on the ETOD (Equitable Transit-Oriented Development) Steering Committee. She is
an active leader in her church and has served on the Core Values Committee, missions,
refugee support team, and led small groups.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The Ohio State University and a
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South
Florida’s Muma College of Business.
