Kate Siefert joined the team in February 2022, and you can catch her on weekday evenings on ABC 6 and FOX 28.

It’s been a long-time goal for Kate to report and tell the stories most important to the people living in her home state of Ohio.

Kate grew up on the east side of Cleveland and graduated from Ashland University where she played volleyball and majored in Journalism and Sport Communication.

Her first stop in the TV business was in Steubenville, Ohio. There, Kate was a sports reporter turned morning anchor on NEWS 9 Sunrise.

In 2019, Kate moved up to Kalamazoo, Michigan where she produced and anchored WWMT’s noon and 5:30 p.m. shows. Luckily, all of the football fans in that state up north, couldn’t convince her to forget about her beloved Buckeyes.

Some of Kate’s hobbies include yoga, playing beach volleyball, watching sports, exploring the outdoors and trying out new restaurants.
