As Ohio’s 33rd Auditor of State, Keith Faber is dedicated to ensuring efficient, effective, and transparent government for the people of Ohio. Faber served 18 years in the state legislature, including time as President of the Ohio Senate. He earned a reputation for restraining state spending, lowering taxes, and advocating for more transparent, accountable government. As Auditor of State, Faber has continued his work to ensure taxpayer dollars are spent appropriately and those who lie, cheat, and steal public resources are held responsible for their actions. Since taking office in 2019, Auditor Faber has overseen the convictions of more than 100 public officials and spearheaded audits that identified billions in unemployment fraud and abuse. His administration also continues to help state and local governments work better, faster, and cheaper while improving customer service for Ohioans. Faber earned his undergraduate degree from Oakland University and his Juris Doctorate from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. After working in the private sector, he opened his own law firm, Faber and Associates LLC. Faber and his wife, Andrea, have two children and live in Celina, Ohio.
