Kennedy Watkins is in the beginning of her junior year when she began working on my Gold Award, the highest award recognized to a Girl Scout. The project was influenced by her time in Barbados. She created her own lesson plans and she’s sharing them with teachers. In her Junior year, she was recognized with the University of Rochester’s Xerox Award for Innovation and Technology. In 2019, she was the March of Dimes Ambassador. She raised $3,000 for the foundation and spoke at the annual March of Dimes foundation gala. At OWU she plan to Major in Business Administration and Computer Science.
