Student, Columbus Academy

Olivia Pierre-Louis is a rising senior at Columbus Academy. She is the president of her school’s “Black Organization of Students” and “United CA,” the coalition of Columbus Academy’s student affinity groups. In 2018, Olivia was of Academy’s 6 conferees to attend the National Student Diversity Leadership Conference in Nashville. The following year, Olivia created an American Sign Language club and began teaching basic sign language to her peers. She enjoys photography, and was awarded a Silver Key for her digital short“ Always Watching.” She is a returning varsity letter winner on her school’s volleyball team, an actress and singer in Academy’s choir and theater program, and is an active member of Faith Ministries Church’s youth group and youth choir. Olivia is an avid knitter, making scarves throughout the year to be delivered to area shelters. Olivia is the daughter of Lloyd & Jerzell, and has two siblings – Solomon and Leah.
