Ralph Smithers, Jr. serves as Assistant Vice President, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Community Relations at Encova Insurance (formerly Motorists Insurance Group), a company he has served for almost 30 years. Smithers’s other leadership positions included Vice President, Agency Technology and Customer Service (MAX Service), Assistant Vice President, Personal Lines Underwriting, Assistant Vice President, Training and Development.

Smithers received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Insurance and Risk from The Ohio State University.
