Administrator, Capital Programs, Ohio Department of Transportation
Thom Slack serves as the Capital Programs Administrator for the Ohio Department of Transportation’s District Six Office which covers eight Central Ohio counties. In his role, Thom guides the delivery of the District’s Capital Program through Planning, Engineering and Construction.
During Thom’s three decades at ODOT, he has been involved in many Central Ohio projects utilizing innovative solutions. Thom has a wide range of experience in planning, detailed design, CADD management, work zone traffic management and project management including the 70/71 Ramp Up project.
Thom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, and although he was born and raised in New Jersey, he has called Columbus home since arriving in Ohio.
