Director, Columbus Africentric Early College
Dr. Todd Walker is the Director of Columbus Africentric Early College (CAEC), an early college PK-12 campus in the Columbus City School District. He works as the Chief Alignment Officer in the facilitation of the campus vision: high achievement and early college for each student as they affirm the positive leadership of African Americans to benefit the global community.
The school’s emphasis on the cultivation of student leadership is expressed in part through service. Its goal is that students choosing to attend the campus (K-8 and High School) will, at the end of their educational experience, have attained both a high school diploma and Associate of Arts, Science, or Applied Science with a clear understanding of their capacity and a mission to uplift others through their selected vocation.
Walker has been an educator with the Columbus City Schools since 2000. He received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University.
