Originally recorded on October 30, 2019:Â With many companies and organizations focusing more on diversity and inclusion, the demand for diverse talent for boards and employees continues to grow.
The African American Leadership Academy expands the number of African American leaders who excel in their professions and engage in community service in central Ohio. The work reshapes the future landscape of leaders and broadens awareness of African American leadership beyond the borders of commonly tapped circles.
Are their efforts being fruitful and what challenges still lie ahead? To discuss the AALA and its goals, we welcome Yvette McGee Brown, Partner, Jones Day; Stephanie Hightower, President & CEO, Columbus Urban League; Toni Cunningham, Managing Director, Per Scholas Columbus; and host Mo Wright, President and CEO, RAMA Inc.
