Banks' Impact on the Regional Economy

This event has ended, but don't worry we have a new forum each week!

Twenty-five banks – including giants like PNC, Chase, Huntington, and Fifth-Third – have a headquarters or prominent regional office in Central Ohio. Beyond the basics of providing jobs, contributing to the local economy through taxes, and providing customer services with integrity, Columbus-area residents look to these corporate leaders to be good neighbors.

There are so many ways that banks can contribute to the well-being of the community, such as taking special initiatives to support small businesses, social enterprises, and nonprofits; contributing knowledge by serving on local boards; supporting the many colleges and universities that call Central Ohio home; and more.

This forum invites local banking and community leaders to discuss the impact – obligatory and voluntary – that banks have on a regional economy and how they can continue to contribute in meaningful ways as the greater Columbus metro area grows in size and in population.

Featuring Melissa Ingwersen, Central Ohio District President, KeyBank, Mary Auch, Columbus Regional President, PNC, and Steve Bennett, Central Ohio Regional President, U.S. Bank. Hosted by Don DePerro, President and CEO, Columbus Chamber of Commerce.
