Hear first-hand stories of research discovery in a conversation with Jerry Mendell, M.D., NCH’s researcher behind these remarkable gene therapies, fifty years in the making. Dennis R. Durbin, M.D., President, Abigail Wexner Research Institute, will interview Mendell and discuss NCH’s gene therapy successes and how they have created a foundation for other achievements.
We’ll also go behind the scenes at the newest labs at the Abigail Wexner Research Institute and get an inside look at the groundbreaking science transforming our region and giving hope to children worldwide, finishing with a reception with light appetizers and beverages.
