CodeLaunch Tech Startup Accelerator

This event has ended, but don't worry we have a new forum each week!

CodeLaunch is coming to Columbus!

The burgeoning tech startup accelerator got its start in Dallas in 2013 as a project headed by software developer Jason Taylor. Taylor sought a way to give life to great new software ideas that otherwise might never see the light of day. CodeLaunch pairs up software developers and their big dreams for new products with venture capitalists who bring the ability to fund innovative projects.

Now in its 10th year, CodeLaunch will be coming to Columbus on August 25 with a high-energy event where developers pitch their new ideas to venture capitalists.

Startups had until June 16 to apply for ten semi-finalist slots, which are whittled down by judges to just 4 or 5 for the final pitch competition on August 25. At stake for the winner is potentially millions of dollars in funding from interested backers to bring their software innovation to life.

Dallas-based company Improving, which has a sizeable Ohio presence, has played a key role in bringing CodeLaunch to Columbus, covering event expenses and providing a team of software developers to support the entrants.

At the July 27 Columbus Metropolitan Club form, Improving – Ohio President Josh Harrison with expert panelists Navin Goyal, M.D., CEO, LOUD Capital, Falon Donohue, Partner, Narya, and Steve Lekas, Co-Founder & CEO, Branch Insurance, will share the excitement around CodeLaunch’s Columbus debut.
