This event has ended, but don't worry we have a new forum each week!
“Before we are even clear of a devastating pandemic, stock that represents optimism in the return of live events is now higher than ever. One driving factor is that 83 percent of fans continue to hold tickets for postponed events, according to the company (LiveNation, the parent company of Ticketmaster), suggesting strong pent-up demand.” states a February 26, 2021 article in Forbes.
Columbus’ own event professionals from event producers to event venue managers to the performers have also shown more optimism. With approval of full stadium capacity for Crew and OSU games and the return of the Columbus Symphony’s annual “Picnic with the Pops” and CAPA’s popular Broadway Series, venues appear eager to see audiences back. Our panelists will discuss their experiences of the past year and what they are seeing on the horizon for events in the weeks and months ahead.
Featuring John R. Page, General Manager, Greater Columbus Convention Center/ASM Global, Denise Rehg, Executive Director Columbus Symphony, and John Page, Founder and Principal, PageTech Limited with host, Hayleigh Colombo, Reporter, Columbus Business First.
