This event has ended, but don't worry we have a new forum each week!
This forum was originally presented and recorded on April 8, 2015.
Featuring Aminah Robinson, a prominent artist and MacArthur Fellowship recipient, who professes that she knew she wanted to be an artist from a young age growing up in Columbus’ Poindexter Village. She attended weekend courses at CCAD (then the Columbus Art School) while still in high school and continued studying there after graduation. Her work utilizes both traditional skills she learned at CCAD and methods taught to her by her parents. Robinson will be interviewed by Denny Griffith, past president of CCAD and a visual artist, who received fellowships for painting from the Greater Columbus Arts Council, the Ohio Arts Council and Arts Midwest.
Sponsored by; Greater Columbus Arts Council, Puffin Foundation West, The Crane Group and The Jeffery Company.
