Game Changer: The New NCAA NIL Rules

This event has ended, but don't worry we have a new forum each week!

With the sweeping changes to the NCAA’s Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rules, big changes are coming to the world of college sports. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine recently signed an executive order allowing college athletes to earn revenue using their name, image, and likeness. Are amateur athletes still “amateurs” if they can sign contracts like the pros can? What does this mean for athletes, teams, families, sponsors, and higher education? Will high school athletics be next? Join CMC as our expert panel dissects the issues and implications of these game-changing new rules.

Featuring Luke Fedlam, President, Anomaly Sports Group, Head of Sports Law, Porter Wright Morris and Arthur, Roger Ingles, CEO, Executive Management Partners and Kristin Ronai, Director of Compliance, Ohio High School Athletic Association with host, Rob Oller, Sports Columnist, The Columbus Dispatch.
