This event has ended, but don't worry we have a new forum each week!
The pandemic took its toll on Columbus’ favorite activities, and no activity was more impacted than dining out in the city’s restaurants. If there’s one thing Columbus residents love, it’s the vibrant “Cbus” food scene. While takeout kept many restaurants busy and let patrons support their favorite spots during the pandemic, Columbus restaurants now seemed poised for a comeback.
While the worst of the pandemic is hopefully in the rearview mirror, Columbus restaurants can’t seem to catch a break, yet they remain beloved by a city eager to return to pre-pandemic life and to enjoy the best the city’s inventive restaurateurs have to offer. What’s next for Columbus restaurants? Which favorites have survived, and what’s around the corner? With the help of an expert panel of foodies, CMC digs into the present and future Columbus restaurant scene.
Culinary instructors, radio hosts, and legendary local gourmands Rich Terapak and Steve Stover, along with Columbus restauranteur and foody Jim Budros will discuss the ever-evolving Central Ohio food scene and what the post-COVID world has in store. Ann Fisher, host, “All Sides with Ann Fisher” on WOSU, will moderate the no-doubt lively conversation.
