Covered Boston Celtics/NBA 1989-1995, the twilight of the Big Three. Covered Hartford Whalers/NHL 1995-97; was in the Civic Center when “Brass Bonanza” died. Covered UConn men’s basketball 1997-99. Those Huskies beat the other Blue Devils, but they weren’t as good as the women. Moved to Columbus to be first pro hockey writer at the Dispatch. Covered Blue Jackets/NHL 1999-2005.
